My sister and I and 2 friends had the delightful experience of staying for several days at Karikari Lodge in Jan. 2026. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The hosts – Katalina and Paul, made us feel so welcome. Our accommodation was perfect as was the location right on the north coast where access to the ocean, beachcombing etc was very convenient. It is also possible to book a trip with the hosts to visit Cape Reinga and 90 Mile beach. I highly recommend choosing Karikari Lodge when heading to the north coast! You won’t regret it!
