Main Lodge
Spacious and Welcoming
Discover family-friendly comfort in our Main Lodge, which boasts three bedrooms under the Main Lodge. The Maitai and Tokerau rooms feature Queen beds, while the Puwheke room offers a King single bed. This lodge accommodates up to five guests in total.
The Main Lodge features a master bedroom and a family bedroom, each with a queen-size bed, and a cozy single room with a king single bed. Our fully equipped kitchen, inviting living and dining area with TV and DVD player, and covered BBQ area provide the perfect setting for relaxation. The lodge also includes an upper deck and a fish-filleting table for outdoor enthusiasts. Accessibility is a priority with a wheelchair-friendly bathroom. Minimum two-night stay for group bookings. Continental breakfast included.
Pasifika
Serenity and Accessibility
The Pasifika is a tranquil one-bedroom unit, offering a private and accessible escape. This fully-furnished retreat includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and a lounge with a 55-inch TV for your entertainment. A delightful continental breakfast is included with your stay. The covered BBQ area adds to the leisurely vibe. Designed for accessibility, The Pasifika ensures a comfortable stay for all guests, with no shared facilities. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a serene and private lodging experience.
Maitai Room
The Maitai Room is a lovely spacious bedroom with a very comfortable Queen size bed,One Scotch Chest set of Draws,Reading Chair,Bedside Cabinets and reading lights and a large Double Wardrobe.
Tokerau Room
The Tokerau Room is a compact Double Room with a Queen size Bed, One Set of Scotch Chest Draws,Reading Chair Bedside Cabinets,Reading Lights,and Good Size Wardrobe.
Puwheke Room
The Puwheke king single Room is a cute little Room that has a Scotch Chest Set of Draws,Reading Chair,One Bedside Cabinet,One reading Light and a Double Wardrobe.
Pohutukawa Cabin
Charming and Self-Contained
Relax in the Pohutukawa Cabin, an open-plan haven ideal for couples. Featuring a queen-size bed, walk-around bathroom, kitchenette, and dining area. Enjoy our expansive deck and BBQ area. A delightful continental breakfast is included.
George
Unique Caravan Experience
Explore the unique charm of ‘George,’ a cozy, self-contained caravan perfect for solo travelers. Compact yet equipped with essentials for a comfortable stay. A comforting continental breakfast is provided.
Complimentary Amenities and Activities
We believe in providing more than just a place to stay. Our guests enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, boogie boards, surfboards, and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). Please bring your beach towels for your water adventures. Note that SUPs and kayaks are not available on the morning of check-out.
Connectivity and Comfort
Stay connected with our free WiFi service and stream content using Google Chromecast. Relax, knowing that all bedding, linen, and a washing machine are provided for your convenience.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Deposits:
After we have advised you that Karikari Lodge is available, a deposit of one third of the total cost (or full payment) is required. The deposit may be paid by NZ dollar cheque or by transfer to our bank account. We are unable to accept credit card payments.
Cancellation:
As a small property, cancellations do heavily impact on us and if we are not able to replace cancelled bookings, any deposit will be forfeited. Any refund of deposit will be in New Zealand dollars.
Balance of payment
The balance of payment may be paid on arrival by cash or eftpos. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards and Visa debit cards.
The owners of Karikari Lodge accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property while on the Karikari Lodge property.
